Inside The Little One Daily

Every ingredient earns its place.

No endless ingredient list. No token amounts. Just thoughtfully selected nutrients chosen with fussy eaters in mind.

DHA Omega-3

DHA Omega-3

The one many fussy eaters miss

Current formula: 100 mg DHA
Form: Microencapsulated algal DHA

DHA is a long-chain omega-3 fatty acid and an important structural component of the brain and retina.

Why we included it:
Oily fish is one of the richest dietary sources of DHA — and often one of the foods selective eaters are least enthusiastic about.

We use algal DHA, giving us a direct source of DHA without using fish oil.

Naturally found in:
Salmon, sardines, mackerel, trout and microalgae.

Iron

Iron

For growing minds

Current formula: 3–4 mg elemental iron
Form: Ferrous bisglycinate

Iron contributes to normal cognitive development in children, normal red blood cell formation and normal oxygen transport around the body.

Why we included it:
Children who eat little meat, pulses or iron-fortified foods may have relatively little iron in their diet. Ferrous bisglycinate was chosen as a well-established supplemental form.

Naturally found in:
Red meat, poultry, beans, lentils, chickpeas, eggs and fortified cereals.

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3

For growing bones

Current formula: 10 µg / 400 IU
Form: Cholecalciferol

Vitamin D is needed for the normal growth and development of bones in children and contributes to normal immune function.

Why we included it:
Dietary sources of vitamin D are limited, and UK guidance recommends vitamin D supplementation for young children.

Naturally found in:
Oily fish and egg yolk, as well as fortified milks and cereals.

Zinc

Zinc

For immunity & everyday development

Current formula: 3 mg
Form: Zinc citrate

Zinc contributes to normal immune function, normal cognitive function, normal DNA synthesis and the maintenance of normal bones.

Why we included it:
Important zinc sources such as meat, dairy, eggs, beans, nuts and seeds are often foods that can disappear from a selective eater's diet.

Naturally found in:
Meat, cheese, milk, eggs, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds.

Iodine

Iodine

For growing minds

Current formula: 50 µg
Form: Potassium iodide

Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function, normal thyroid hormone production and normal thyroid function.

Why we included it:
The major dietary sources include dairy, fish and eggs, meaning intake can become more relevant when children consistently avoid these foods.

Naturally found in:
Milk, yoghurt, cheese, fish, eggs and some fortified plant-based alternatives.

Calcium

Calcium

Current formula: 100 mg
Form: Calcium citrate malate

Calcium is needed for the normal growth and development of bones in children.

Why it's there:
Children who consume little milk, yoghurt, cheese or fortified alternatives may have lower calcium intakes.

Food sources:
Milk, yoghurt, cheese, fortified plant drinks, tofu and some green vegetables.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C

Current formula: 25 mg
Form: Calcium ascorbate

Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function and importantly increases iron absorption.

That pairing is one reason it makes sense alongside iron in the formula.

Food sources:
Berries, oranges, kiwi, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes and potatoes.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A

Current formula: 233 µg RE
Form: Retinyl palmitate

Vitamin A contributes to normal immune function and the maintenance of normal vision.

Food sources:
Eggs and dairy provide preformed vitamin A, while carrots, sweet potatoes and dark green vegetables provide carotenoids that the body can convert to vitamin A.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E

Current formula: 3 mg α-TE
Form: D-alpha-tocopheryl succinate

Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Food sources:
Nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, avocado and some green vegetables.

B vitamins

B vitamins

B Vitamins — for energy and everyday development Our blend of B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folate and B12 helps support normal energy metabolism, nervous-system function and healthy blood formation — important foundations for growing children.

Built by Paediatric Doctors. Backed by Science.

At The Little One, we believe every child deserves the strongest possible foundations from which to grow, learn and thrive.

But we also know that real childhood nutrition is rarely perfect.

Toddlers refuse vegetables. Favourite foods suddenly become unacceptable. Entire food groups can disappear from the menu overnight. And for parents, it can be difficult to know whether their child is getting enough of the nutrients they need.

That is why we created The Little One Daily.

A simple, child-friendly nutritional powder designed specifically with selective eaters in mind.

Why We Exist

Fussy eating is incredibly common in childhood.

For many children, it is simply a phase. But when diets become very limited, some nutrients can become harder to obtain consistently—particularly when children avoid foods such as fish, meat, eggs, dairy, vegetables or fortified foods.

We wanted to create something that helps parents feel reassured without pretending a supplement can replace a healthy diet.

The Little One Daily is designed to sit alongside your child's food journey: helping support their nutrition today while you continue encouraging variety for tomorrow.

Nourish their foundations today. Unlock their potential tomorrow.

Designed Differently

We didn't want to create another children's multivitamin simply because it was colourful, sweet or easy to market.

We started with a different question:

What would we actually want in a daily nutritional product for a selective eater?

That meant thinking carefully about both what goes into the formula and how children actually take it.

Thoughtfully selected nutrients

The Little One Daily has been designed around nutrients that can be particularly relevant when children eat a restricted variety of foods, including:

Iron
Supports normal cognitive development in children and normal red blood cell formation.

Vitamin D
Supports normal growth and development of bones and normal immune function.

DHA Omega-3
A long-chain omega-3 fatty acid and important structural component of the brain and retina.

Zinc
Supports normal growth and immune function.

Iodine
Supports normal growth and cognitive function in children.

Alongside these are carefully selected vitamins, minerals and other nutritional ingredients intended to provide broader nutritional support.

Why Powder?

Because the best supplement is only useful if a child will actually take it.

Many selective eaters are particularly sensitive to unfamiliar:

  • flavours
  • textures
  • smells
  • tablets
  • chewables
  • gummies
  • drops

So we chose a dissolvable, flavourless powder that can be mixed into familiar foods and drinks.

Milk. Yoghurt. Porridge. Smoothies.

No tablets to swallow.

No gummy to negotiate over.

No supplement that needs to become another daily battle.

Just:

Pour. Mix. Serve.

More Than a Basic Multivitamin

We wanted The Little One Daily to go beyond simply putting as many vitamins as possible onto the back of a packet.

Every major ingredient should have a reason for being there.

One example is DHA Omega-3.

Oily fish is one of the main dietary sources of DHA—but it isn't exactly famous for being a favourite among fussy eaters.

That's why DHA became an important part of our thinking.

We use algal DHA, giving us a direct source of omega-3 without relying on fish oil.

It is this kind of consideration that sits behind the whole product:

Not more ingredients for the sake of it. Better thought-out nutrition for the children we're actually designing for.

Food First. Always.

We want to be very clear about something.

A supplement should never replace a varied diet.

Our goal is not to make parents stop offering vegetables, fish, beans, eggs or new foods simply because their child takes The Little One Daily.

Quite the opposite.

We believe children's nutrition works best when supplementation and positive food experiences work together.

Keep exposing them to new foods.

Let them help prepare meals.

Celebrate curiosity rather than empty plates.

Allow tastes to develop gradually.

And while that journey is happening, The Little One Daily can provide another layer of nutritional support.

We like to think of it as a:

Nutritional safety net for the fussy eating years.

Built Around Real Family Life

Nutrition advice can sometimes sound wonderfully simple:

"Just feed them a balanced diet."

Any parent of a selective eater knows that reality can look very different.

We design around real mornings.

Nursery runs.

Half-eaten breakfasts.

Foods that were loved yesterday and rejected today.

Children who can detect a microscopic change in their favourite yoghurt.

And parents who are doing their best.

The Little One Daily has therefore been designed to be:

Simple.
One daily sachet.

Flexible.
Mix it into familiar foods or drinks.

Child-friendly.
No tablets or chewing required.

Convenient.
Individually portioned sachets for home, nursery or travel.

Purposeful.
A carefully considered nutritional formula rather than a long list of token ingredients.

Our Standard

Parents deserve to understand what they are giving their children.

That means we believe in:

Evidence before hype.

Meaningful ingredients over marketing ingredients.

Clear, understandable nutrition information.

Responsible claims.

No pretending supplements are magic.

And no exploiting the anxiety that can come with feeding a child.

We want parents to feel informed, reassured and empowered.

Our Bigger Mission

The Little One Daily is just the beginning.

Our ambition is to build a trusted child-health brand centred around one idea:

Helping children reach their potential by giving families better tools to support their health from the very beginning.

Nutrition is one of the strongest foundations we can give a growing child.

And if we can make that little bit easier for families, we've done something worthwhile.

For little bodies. Growing minds. Big futures.

Welcome to The Little One.
